Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Studucer, provided by Studucer (“we”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
1. The service
Studucer is software that runs on your computer, plus online services we operate: sign-in, credits and payments, and AI features (narration, transcription, an optional built-in agent and, on the Studio plan, AI video). Your projects and media stay on your computer; we don’t store them. Text you send to an AI feature is processed by us and our providers to produce the result.
2. Accounts and credits
AI features use credits. Credits have no cash value, can’t be transferred or resold, and are non-refundable except where required by law or stated at purchase. Plan credits are added each month (on yearly plans too) and expire at the end of the month they were issued for; purchased credit packs don’t expire while your account is open. We may change credit prices for future use with notice.
3. Third-party AI providers
Some features are powered by third-party providers: Google (voices, caption timing, transcription and AI video) and Anthropic (the built-in agent). When you use those features you must also comply with the Google Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy and the Anthropic Usage Policy. You consent to your inputs being processed by these providers to deliver the feature.
4. Acceptable use
You won’t use Studucer to impersonate real people, create deceptive or non-consensual content, infringe others’ rights, generate unlawful material, or try to extract, resell or give others access to the AI services outside Studucer. We may suspend accounts that do.
5. Your content
You own what you put in and, as between you and us, what Studucer generates for you, subject to the provider terms above. You’re responsible for having the rights to footage, images, music and voices you use, and for disclosing AI-generated content where the law or a platform requires it.
6. Payments
Payments are handled by Polar as merchant of record. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes. Questions: support@example.com.
